UNICEF, one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations, advocates for the protection of children rights and meeting their basic needs. Mobilizing political will and material resources to help countries, particularly developing ones, UNICEF ensures a “first call for children,” forming appropriate policies and delivering services to children and their families. At PHHS UNICEF, we strive to fulfill UNICEF USA’s goal in helping children globally, beginning with volunteering locally. Our activities range from on-campus fundraisers and handicrafts to citywide festivals and marathons.
